Three lines?

I had my 20week ultrasound and found out the gender (we did a really cute reveal with family). The reveal showed we are having a baby BOY and we are thrilled. However my
Mother-in-law is insisting the tech was wrong bc the picture is showing up three lines... Can someone explain this three lines and if it can be wrong

I can't see private parts in this pic but the actual anatomy looks like a turtle if it's a boy and a hot dog bun if it's a girl...

Those 3 lines aren't even in the baby's bottom. Lol. That could be fingers or part of umbilical. But if you have a picture with the babys bottom, maybe we can offer our thoughts on the actual gender.

Not all babies boys or girls always have three lines, but both can have them..  My first born (boy) had three lines! My second (girl) only had two lines... Your tech isn't only looking for lines. As many things can image as three lines, fingers, bottoms, the cord etc... They are looking for labia (which can be three lines) or a penis and scrotum (which can also be three lines!)  Your baby looks to be a boy to me. Did you get any potty shots??

It'd be easier to explain and help you confirm if you posted the ultrasound pic of the parts lol, but here's my daughters ultrasound. The arrow is pointing to her vagina. You can see the three lines plain as day. It's the labia. Just like your vagina, if you think about it, it's the three lines too. A boy won't have these three lines, it'll look more like a turtle.
