A true life story puts it all into perspective
Ok friends it's sharing time. I was going through my Instagram feed yesterday when I came up on one of my favorite fitness competitors posts where she linked her <a href="https://glowing.com/glow-fertility-program">IVF</a> Instagram story.
Me being on the brink of this last ditch effort head over to it and I started from the beginning where she discusses what led her and her husband to <a href="https://glowing.com/glow-fertility-program">IVF</a>....
Long story short she struggled like many of us are or did
She went through failed Attempts at IUIs and such
So it's egg retrieval day... They grab like 18
Then she gets a call out of 18 only 4 made it to cell division at day 3 that were healthy
So now it's egg transfer day and they chose the best 2 eggs and did the transfer. They were also told that the other 2 her backups where slowing in division and may not make it to day 5/6 which is freezing day
Those other 2 did not make it.
Finally it's HPT day and sure enough she is preggers. Only 1 took and she is now 21 weeks pregnant with a healthy baby boy.
I read this and was shocked that out of 18 only 1 made it. But, then it puts things into perspective and I hope all of u still struggling can find the hope in this story. It's a numbers game and we just have to wait for our number to be up.
Praying for us all who are desperately seeking it 1 egg that will soon be our baby to hold in our arms.
