Just diagnosed- I need answers

So this week I was diagnosed with pcos 😭

I called my insurance company to see if it was covered and they told me that the diagnosis and treatment will be covered but not facilitating pregnancy.

Wtf does that mean? Do they cover metformin and Clomid?!? Wouldn't treatment of infertility be pregnancy?!?

I'm just trying to figure out if most insurance companies cover things like that?!? Sorry if it sounds silly or dumb, but I'm just so confused and no one can give me a straight answer!
