Hello!

I had a baby 5 weeks ago. I have my 6 week check up this week. I have been interested in getting an IUD (Skyla, because it's only for 3 years). I have done extensive research and I know it says that you shouldn't get it if you've have ever had PID (which I had in 2013) unless you have had a normal pregnancy after having it (which I did, of course) but it still kind of scares me about it... Has anyone else ever had PID and gotten an IUD?

Also, general opinions and experiences about IUD's are welcome as well. I, of course, will talk to my doctor at my appointment, I would just like others experiences..

(Also I do have PCOS and get migraine headaches.. Anyone else have an IUD with those conditions?)
