I started birth control (implant) on November of 2015. It's almost been a year and I'm stilling bleeding. I seem to be getting my period every other week, and in between those weeks I have this brownish red blood that comes out everyday. (Left over dried blood?) the smell of it is as if I farted, TMI I know😩 but I've been waiting it out because I've been told that it's normal to have irregular bleeding the first year after insertion. I am not sexually active.. My mom just wanted me to be protected just in case. Has anyone else had this problem? And if so how did you get the bleeding to stop? I've heard prescribed pills work, but I'm not a fan of taking pills. What are other implant options that I can switch too? Btw I do plan to see my doctor soon.
