I started using coconut oil as soon as I tested positive I'm 38+3 and still no stretch marks but some women get them regardless of what they use or how often. Even if you do get them they're just proof that your body created a miracle :)

Make sure you apply as soon as you get out of the shower, otherwise it just sits on the surface. Also, make sure it's a cocoa butter base with collagen. I'm 36 weeks and I have not had one yet.

Everyone says it's genetic but I'm not so sure about that. My mom has them horribly and after my first pregnancy I got none. I gained more weight than what's recommend by about five pounds. I had very strong abs so I didn't carry too big. I applied plenty of olive oil too.

It is genetic. But there are ways to prevent it still. Every women in my family got insane stretch marks. I didn't get a single one. Start applying it ASAP though. The big thing is to just make sure your skin never gets to dry
