Can't my baby be having nightmares?

My 10 month old baby in the middle of the night starts to cry but his sleeping so I have to try to wake him up as gently as I can and then when his wide a wake I make him a milk and rock him back to sleep.... Is there anything that he might be dreaming ?

It's possible, but most likely just because they've dreamt you have led the room and in the dream it's made them feel scared and alone and your baby reacts by crying out while still sleeping. My son used to and still does do it , but he is five at the end of the month. And has started to sleep walk and stuff 🙈 so he has a baby gate on his door to keep him safe

Same happened with my baby too I think they are feeling hungry that is why they are crying in the middle of night .. After feeding him at that time he goes right away to sleep 😊
