How do you clean your vagina???

I just read a post where a lot of the girls just use water?! I know your vagina naturally cleans itself from the inside out, but I don't imagine it cleans in between your lips or any of the outside areas..that just sounds disgusting to me, not to use soap?!?! Not saying anyone that does that is gross, just confused on how you feel clean that way? Trying to ask without sounding judgemental but I'm really curious...
