Baby Carrier.. Actually Comfy?

Hi mommies. Im thinking about buying a baby carrier. Are babies comfortable when they are in it? Most pictures I see, babies look uncomfortable. Am I wrong?

I have an ergo, unless my daughters recently woken from a nap she's usually asleep within 20 mins in it. She loves it but she also loves being held. It all depends on if the baby is a babywearing type of baby.

I bought an Infantino Cuddle Up, she loves it. She outgrew my Boba wrap.

My newborn falls asleep almost immediately in her carrier. And if she's not in her carrier she loves to fall asleep laying on our chest, so the same position anyways. They're comfortable.

You need to make sure it is a proper carrier that keeps baby's knees up at or above their hip height so as not to cause hip problems. From what I have heard lots of kids love wraps/carriers because they are close to you, for my sister with her 5 months old the wrap is the only way to settle him down when he is upset sometimes. Not sure if a regular carrier has the same effect but I don't think babies are as uncomfortable as you might think if it is a proper carrier. And if they are - they will be sure to let you know.
