Never giving birth in a 3rd world country again

Elyse

We're talking surprise enema, no one speaking English, and a nurse spilling my blood (when simply putting an IV in) all over me, the floor, herself, etc... And not using gloves. I'm officially traumatized. Also got tied to the bed at one point. Not pleasant for someone with an anxiety disorder.

Pushing took almost two hours, two bouts with the vacuum, and they cut me. They ignored my begging for an epidural from the very beginning, and instead gave me meds that didn't help with pain, they merely made me dizzy and panicky. Then they gave me medication as soon as her body was out that made me blackout instantly. I didn't get to even see my baby until hours later, and even now she can't stay in my room with me overnight.

Listen, this was the worst experience imaginable for me, shirt of severe injury or death, but I'm so happy. Thank you all for your love and support over these months, and I look forward to discussing our newborns together. <3 Also, I pray you all have it easier than I did.
