If you are reading any books on parenting, I would love to hear your recommendations. I'm trying to look for a good book on child development and the parents role.

I'm currently reading "the science of mom". It's the baby's first year from a scientific/research point of view. It's very interesting!

I really like The Wonder Weeks. Has good info on developmental leaps as your baby gets older, how to soothe them when they're overwhelmed by them and how to support their growth. Details it out by week.

This may be slightly off topic but is a parenting book, my mom bought me Mayo Clinic guide to the baby's first year.  It has come in handy for me so many times with info about illnesses, monthly milestones and health issues.
