Changing table station?

Question

Is it worth getting one? If so, which one do you recommend? I have a Dark chocolate crib so maybe something in that color. Also is there smalls ones? I have a 5y/o that will share the room with baby.

We have a small place so ended up changing our son for a few months on the floor or our bed. As much as he pooped and peed we decided we wanted something under him and got a contorted changing pad. That we just put on top of his dresser now and change him up there. We felt changing tables were a waste since you don't use them once baby is too big for it or potty trained but I have seen some that turn into toy/book shelves or dressers.

I'm getting a dresser that has like the box on top so that way I can save space I feel like alot of ppl don't end up using them and just pile stuff on them

For us it's a must have! I know some people say they don't use them but my oldest is almost 2 and we still use the change table for every single diaper and outfit change! I also have no idea where I would store all the diapers and wipes without te table. We just have a simple change table with shelves underneath. It's not huge but it does the trick.

I think it's a waste of money. I've used a blanket on top of a dresser, the couch, floor, bed. It's not slats convenient to get to wherever the changing table in so we just avoided getting one.

I think they are practical if you plan to use it. I used mine for both my daughter's and loved it. But i know other women who had them and didnt ever use it. If you plan to use it they are great. I think it makes changing easier and yiu can organize all your stuff under it.
