Pain at 6 week postpartum check??

So I went to my doctor for my six week check up and I was really excited because I figured he would say OK you're all clear to have sex again which he did, however the exam, which was just a finger exam kinda hurt - so now I'm really scared to have sex

Anyone else have some pain at the 6 week check but sex was all good?!?

Don't rush! Everyone heals differently. I waited the 6 weeks and it was still a bit uncomfortable the first couple times. Then, I got my period at 8 weeks and it has been much better! There has been no pain at all and we are totally back to normal. Be patient, you'll get back to it soon. 😎

I attempted to have sex with my husband just before my 6 week checkup cause I was feeling alright! But when I tried it just wasn't happening, no way. I was maybe just too scared, but it felt like it was going to hurt where my stitches were so we didn't go through with it.

Doctor said I was good to go! And since that exam at the visit I've felt the slightest bit uncomfortable down there now. Going to try at least once a week from here on out until it seems okay for me.

I didn't have sex for about 8 weeks with my previous 2 pregnancies. It was too painful for me at 6 weeks.
