Learning to do my makeup

So since boyfriend is away and I'm home alone I thought I would try to get better at doing my makeup. Any tips on contouring, blending, eye makeup? Anything would be helpful. I was just never taught and I want to learn so I'm just going to practice. Any tips, videos, or pictures would be great!
