Refusing glucose test.....

Has anyone ever refused to do this? It is elective, even though they don't tell you it is a choice . The test is sooooo unreliable and lacks validity. I have no hx of diabetes with previous pregnancy, no family hx and no symptoms. I don't see a point in doing it....what do you all think.
