I had contractions every few minutes to the point I called the high risk OB on call (I'm a high risk pregnancy) the nurse told me to come in to be evaluated. Got hooked up to the monitors - my contractions slowed down but were happening every 8-10 minutes. The resident on call checked me and I'm 1 cm dilated. She said it's semi common in women who've had a child already (I have an 8 year old) - I'm just so nervous I'm going to go into premature labor. My 8 yr old was born at 35w5d due to high blood pressure which I'm currently being medicated for with this pregnancy. It was elevated for the last 2 days.. Anyone else experience this and had a positive outcome? Or have a different outcome like premature labor?? Just a nervous wreck right now.
