The ex/bestie
I'm currently in a 1&1/2 year relationship right now and I need some advice on how to handle a situation that I'm currently going through.... My boyfriend used to date this girl back in highschool (he's currently 21) they dated for some time during grades 10-11 but obviously things ended he said something along the lines of they grew apart romantically or they just stopped wanting to be in a relationship with each other (I forgot his exact words) anyway they're best friends right now but they're whole relationship is weird to me and makes me uncomfortable because he has stated this was his first love and they have both been wanting me to meet her for some time now but I've always refused because I feel like this could be one of those deal breaker moments where you find out if you can handle this or if it's time to breakup. I just need someone's advice on the best way to handle the situation please help me!!( p.s I've talked to him about it he says he doesn't love her still and hat she has a boyfriend right now so I shouldn't be worried)

My boyfriend recently just told me she's made passes at him recently but he declined them because of what "we have" and says he doesn't want to ruin this she's also sent him a text explicitly stating her feelings for him but he didn't reply I told him that it's extremely disrespectful to me and our relationship that he keeps her around and I (plus some other exes) have told him theres an issue with their relationship he admits this but he still won't drop her as a friend I tell him he still loves her he denies it then gets angry cause I don't look at him telling me about this as a sign that I should trust him but now I don't really know if I can do this anymore I told him that I don't wanna be the French girl to their Ross and Rachel
