Having sex with nuvaring?

I've been told you can have sex with the nuvaring in, but my ex complains it hurts. Do I just have it in wrong?

I had much ring for years and years. It never ever hurt my partner, it should sit nicely around your cervix and is very bendy and soft, shouldn't hurt anybody in the least bit

Neither of you should be able to feel it. Maybe try pushing the ring a little further in.

I use nuva ring and never had any discomfort. Not did my partners. One partner did pull it out once! LOL he was on the smaller side so it was wrapped around him like a ring. Hahaha it was funny.

I do all the time. My partner says he can feel it, but no discomfort for either of us. We keep it in. I don't think you can put it in wrong since it just kind of goes where it needs to be.. If you feel discomfort, go to your doctor. Maybe it's not the BC for you.

You're allowed to take it out for a maximum of 3 hours per the entire 3 weeks it's I believe. It says that in the pamplet. The comment before me says you shouldn't feel it, that's not true, people do feel it. If you need to take it out because you feel it, some people do, you can.
