Am I wrong for telling my mom?

I just found out I'm between 4-5 weeks yesterday and I told my mom this morning. It will be her first grandchild and I'm excited! I know most people wait a little bit but I couldn't help myself.

I don't think she necessarily deserves to know but it's fine to tell her. People usually wait because the chance of a miscarriage dramatically decreases at 12 weeks. That being said, tell whomever you want!

I told mine at 5 weeks & she was really angry that I'd told her so early, like something bad was definitely going to happen! If you don't regret telling her then it wasn't wrong. I won't be telling anyone else until 12 weeks... (6wks3d today) Xx

Completely up to you who you tell and when.  I told my mom right away too and she kept it a secret until I was ready to tell the rest of family.

It depends on how old you are. Based on your picture I'm gonna assume you're younger(I have teenage sisters lol) I think if you are young than it was best to tell her. To make sure you get the support you need and she can help you on where to go from here. If you're not that young then oops sorry lol!

I don't know if "deserves" is the right word but I absolutely told my parents when I found out around 4 weeks. Actually I told most of my family and friends-like-family the day I found out. We were very excited.

I told my mom after surprising my husband, he was also at work and I could only text him. :\ 
I felt the same way, almost like I should have waited to tell my mom, but only because of her reaction wasn't what I was expecting or thought it would be. She didn't sound all that thrilled to becoming a grandmother.(She is happy though!) It's just how she said it to me. Lol My husband's mom, same thing, She was very young when she was pregnant. So she's not exactly ready to be a grandmother either. Haha^_^ She wants to be called Nana not granny.  Can't blame her. 
All together in my opinion, rather they are ready to be grandparents or not. Lol Mom's have a right to now as soon as you do.

We told all our immediate family and close friends right away, even with our second pregnancy after a loss. We needed their support through the first loss so we knew we would tell them right away again with this pregnancy.

And my best friend.
I waited til 12 weeks to tell co-workers, extended family and friends.
