Words of Encouragement

A few weeks ago I moved into a brand new apartment. First time ever moving out on my own. A week later, I moved my boyfriend in with me, whom I've been with for three years. I decided to tell my parents and bite the bullet, knowing they would "disapprove" of the lifestyle. Sure enough, both of them are beside themselves and think I have gone off the deep end. They cannot and have not been able to have a conversation without yelling at me or saying I'm "throwing my life away". My Dad has decided to take the truck that he bought me. Luckily, my boyfriend and I work in the same area, so that won't be a problem, but it hurts that it has gotten to this point. I am 25 years old and trying to do what I think is right. Has anyone ever gone through this?
