Is there a pushchair fit for a fiat 500?

I have only owned my little fiat for a little while. I'm now 5 months into my pregnancy and looking for a pushchair/ pram/ stroller. I can't seem to find anything that is compact enough to fit in my boot!

Today I tried an oyster2 which just about worked but was a little over my budget.

I was hoping anyone out there could suggest a pushchair suitable for a newborrn/ compatible with a car seat that may actually fold up small enough to fit in my tiny car.

I have a fiat 500 too! I am having an impossible time finding anything that will fit in the back without having to have the seats down. It's really frustrating!

I've got a baby jogger city mini gt which folds right down and I remove the wheels to make it more compact. At the moment, it's folded away behind my couch as we don't have much room in the flat.

I drive a Nissan note so it fits quite well in the boot or just behind the back seat. It's not a cheap one though, cost around £350 but we got a good discount as we went to a local baby show. It's also an all terrain one so works in long grass as well as gravel.

I wanted something small too as I didn't want to lose all of my boot space plus both of our parents have tiny cars. We have ordered the mamas & papas armadillo flip xt, it folds down quite small and depends on your boot but it may stand up rather than lay down. Or have you looked at the quinny zapp xtra 2, it's suitable from birth with a newborn insert and you can put a car seat on it. I hope you manage to fine something suitable. Xx

I have a mini and I just bought the silver cross surf as it fits in perfectly with one wheel off (easy to do so not a problem) I've also heard the bugaboo bee or cameleon fits xx

For anyone out there still looking I thought I'd let you know a little about the compact pushchairs I've seen.

What I've found is that the bugaboo is a great size and looks cute but it was a bit pricey for me considering you have to buy all parts separately.

Apparently the I candy raspberry is a similar size and design but slightly cheaper.

The oyster 2 fits with the seat detached and the price is more reasonable- reviews say it's
not the most sturdy and it did feel a little flimsy to me in the shop.

The mothercare roam travel system fits in with the wheels off and is very affordable- but I'm not sure I could deal with the hassle of getting it in and out of the boot everyday. Of all the travel system options I would rate this one highly for people looking for a package deal.

I was told about the babyzen yoyo which is not easily available in the UK but it does fold down to cabin luggage size which would be perfect for a small car. I'm not sure if it's suitable from birth.

In the end I've decided to go for the armadillo flip. It's a very reasonable price, extremely easy to fold and carry. It fits perfectly into the boot of the fiat 500 (as advertised) and is compatible with a car seat. It can also be used from birth. There was a callback on older models earlier this year at mamas and papas stores. However it was a minor fault and has now been fixed in the latest range. The flip xt also fit into the boot of my fiat with one wheel off. In the end the small differences between the two models didn't matter much to me. I would say the flip is the basic model of the xt- which comes in fancy designs and colours, has extendable handles and a extra piece of breathable material on the canopy.

I thought for a minute I'd be looking to sell my car but thankfully I can hold on to it for a little while longer!
