What we can and what we can't

I'm breasfeeding and i want some ideas of what i can't or should eat while breastfeeding  that won't cost colic to my baby

It depends on your baby. Some BFing moms can eat anything, some have long lists of things not to eat. It's just trial and error.

You can eat anything... But watch for the signs of allergies. Because some of the babies have allergy in what we are eating like dairy or protein foods. You can also drink coffee but not more than 2-3 cups a day. It will make your baby irritated and hard to make him sleep. Ask your doctor first before taking any medication. The only allowed for you to take is prenatal vitamins, it is good to both of you.

My son was colicky and my list of no-nos was: no dairy,  onions, cabbage, garlic and soda. Took about two weeks before I noticed a difference. Now hes a little bogger and his belly can handle those things in moderation.

I haven't changed my diet at all. But I take simethicone if I get gassy, and I have to give her simethicone or gripe water sometimes because she gets gassy.

I haven't had any thing that makes my baby feel sick and I eat just about everything.

So far my list consists of no spinach, no tacos, no manwhich, and no cream of wheat. Trial and error...I hate the error part lol

I've found that when I eat anything with spices, onions, red meat, dairy, and peanut butter my sons stomach starts acting up
