How do you get a boyfriend when your shy?

I'm 19 years old and I never had a boyfriend. To be honest, I'm a bit on the shy side. I really want one. I was quiet in school so I don't have a lot of friends (to meet guys.) ... When I talk to strangers I perfectly normal but with guys I'm a bit more quiet. However, it's getting better.

Psychically, I am skinny with nice boobs tho. (I recently started the gym; for that booty lol) People say I'm pretty.

Any advice would be HIGHLY APPRECAITED

Also, I wouldn't call myself desperate cause I do have hookups but Today I started thinking and I realize how old I am and how lonely my future is looking😂😅 lol

Most of the friends I've met have started by being introduced to them by friends I already have. Try going out more to public places with friends like clubs & fun shit like that

I didn't have my first boyfriend until I was 20 (and I'm marrying him in 13 days :-P). We met through mutual college friends. I'm SUPER shy, but around my friends I'm not as bad so it definitely helped being around my friends.

This may not be good advice necessarily but it definitely helps. I'm a shy person with people I don't know well so what helps me is alcohol. I'm soooo much more outgoing after I've had a few drinks. Honestly, I would have never met my boyfriend if it wasn't for beer😂

Going out with people helps. I met my current boyfriend in college. I was best friends with his roommate so we just sorta became a thing haha.
