Diva cup?

Question

I really want to try a diva cup! My question is what's the best one to buy and do they feel like tampons? Tell me your experiences you please. My mom really doesn't want me using one so if you could tell me how to get her on bourd that would be great to! Thanks in advance.

I've had a Diva cup for the past few years! Unlike tamping that contain harsh chemicals, a cup is made of medical grade silicone and collects blood rather than absorbs it. It can also hold much more blood so you can leave it in longer without the concern of Toxic Shock Syndrome.

Like a tampon, however, you can't feel it- if it goes in right. Sometimes it takes a little practice to angle it properly, otherwise you won't feel a thing. You'll also save a lot since its reusable.

Literally JUST got one a couple weeks ago and I love it! I like how I don't have to worry about taking it out as often as tampons. The diva cup is one of the pricier ones (that's the one I have though), but I've heard lunette is also a good brand. Hell, I'd probably get another one just to have more than one.

They're kind of hard to work with at first, and it took quite a few test runs before I finally got it down. There's quite a few different folds to try, and everyone's body is different, so look up the different folds if the one recommended isn't working for you. But in all seriousness, so far I'm loving mine!

I have one and they are Amazing! You never have to worry about TSS (toxic shock syndrome) from leaving it in too long, and it feels kinda weird at first but I'm sure you'll get used to it. And all you have to do is when you go to the bathroom pull it out, empty it, and wash it out with soap and water then put it back in its literally that simple and I really recommend getting one :) hope this helps love <3

I've heard really great things about the diva cup. I have the lily cup because I love the unique shape and super soft silicone, but it's still too large for me, so I got the lily cup compact which is perfect! I love both my cups. I never leak, have no risk for toxic shock, and don't have to put bleach and chemicals near my vagina anymore! It's better for you and the environment! And is so so so much cheaper in the long run. Can I ask why your mom doesn't want you using one?

It's cheaper and doesn't cause tss. That should be enough for her to be fine with it, if she still isn't just save the money and buy it yourself. It is your body so it's your right to use what you want to handle your period. You will spend $45 once a year for your period and it's completely safe. I don't feel it at all but I never felt a tampon either so I guess it feels like it. With practice it is easy to insert and remove. I highly recommend using a cup.
