Tablets vrs textbooks

So they've been talking about replacing textbooks with tablets in K-12th grade. What do you think about this? The argument is that tablets are more supported by teachers, can improve standardized test scores and can hold hundreds of textbooks and can save the environment. I think it's pretty cool but what happens if the Internet shuts down for a day?! It's happened before. The counter argument is that tablets are expensive, distracting, and easy to break. They contribute to headaches, eye strain, blurred vision, & will increase excuses made by students to not get their homework done. So what's your take?
