What do I do for a possible uti or kidney infection?

I'm not sure if I have anything but my stomach has been hurting like low and on my right side towards my back.. Idk what to do

You should see your doctor before the 2 weeks if possible. That is a long time for the infection to spread. Uti's and kidney infections caused preterm labor for a cousin of mine and she was hospitalized more than once during her pregnancy. But yes water and cranberry juice is definitely good to drink lots of.

Get into your doctor ASAP. If it's a UTI it could turn into a kidney infection. Or if it's already a kidney infection and left untreated, it's bad news bears.

For UTI you can take AZO it's over the counter, it will make your pee orange so don't freak out when you see bright orange pee. lol I'd take that and if the pain doesn't stop see your dr

I just found out I have a UTI after giving my 20 week pee sample on Monday. I take an antibiotic for 7 days - one pill am and pm and then it's done. I had no idea I had one. If it's kidneys - which my dr thought it might be - he tapped 6 places on my back and I didn't flinch so he knew it wasn't kidneys. I've had the kidney thing before and I've been doubled over from the pain - I wasn't drinking enough water and my kidneys were shutting down. Never again will I not have enough water. That was painful and kept me in bed for a couple days.

If you have a kidney infection or pain in your lower back bc of a uti you need to go to a doctor ASAP before it becomes an infection to your blood stream (sepsis).
