So I'm a 20 year old mom and I want to get a tattoo of my daughters foot prints from when she was a newborn. But I got my first tattoo at 18 without my parents permission, and I really want this second tattoo but I don't want to make my parents mad I also live with them, help? Advice? Please feel free to put some comments below👇🏻

One one hand I do agree that it is your body do what you want, but you are living with your parents and if you cant afford to live on your own then you dont have the extra money for a tattoo. That is unless you are just a permanent resident there with no plans to ever move out.

Do whatever you want. You're a parent. You're 20. If living with your parents made a difference, tattoo parlors would have a "do you live at home" box to checkmark on their contract sheet. Go for it girl.

I totally understand, my parents were upset with me when I got tattoos while still living at home, because they thought it was a waste of money. But if all your bills are paid and all your daughter's needs are taken care of, I say get the tattoo. You're an adult and it's your body, you get to make the choices :)

Ur 20 yrs old make ur own decision, as long as ur bills are paid and ur child has everything they need- then it's up to you

Probably better to do it now than wait until the baby is older.  I offered to go with my mom to get a tattoo of my foot and she gave me a dirty look.

I can understand them being mad when you were 18 but even though you still live with them, you're 20 now. You're an adult so I don't see why they would be mad. Plus that's a great tattoo idea.
