IUD depression

I have had my IUD for a little over a year now a lot has went on in the last year. I have the skyla.. It is possible that more and more side effects as time goes on? I can be just fine then all of a sudden I just don't feel like being happy at all and go into a mood and start overthinking. I stay like that for a little while then I'll be fine again and laugh and joke then go back...
