Feeling anxious about babies position

I'm 32.5 weeks and was told today my babies lying transverse and back to back with my. She thinks it could possibly be breech also. She said to bounce on a ball for 2 weeks to try get it to turn. How likely is the baby to turn? I'm worried as I've heard back to back baby is a very painful labour.
