Back in 2015 of December Friday 17, my job, a senior service care company ,took me off the schedule. Their reason: you left your post, but two days after i find out that the relative had called and complained on me. Now let me fill you all in i worked for this company for 3 years always got good feed back from clients and doctors anyone who noticed my work always gave me respect. Now my client was a hassle before i got there but over time we both boned and things smoothed out along with the relative, so i thought. the relative is the only child and i can understand someone wanting company and someone to talk to. But in this field we are only allowed so much personal engagement. HIPPA LAW (friendship and business does not mix). Anyway one day the clients water hearter goes out relative is a last minute person so starts getting everything done late.. Not my problem so i continue on with my day. 7:35pm client getting ready for bed. Relative wanted client to stay up for an hour to talk about prices for a water heater. Keep in mind my friends the relative is the POA who is allowed to make simple decisions as such. I refused relative to go back and wake a 91 year old up to talk about prices that can wait til morning. Anyway long story short relative got upset we talked about it that night and the professional that i am i let it go. A week passed i got a call from the office. Guess who it was the concern of 👍😉😳smh anyway fast forward. December friday 17 2015 9:06am i got a call. Staffing Corr. Resigned me: i left my post 2 days later i find out the relative called and complained. 2mths i was left with no case no money. When they resign me it was right around the hoildays. Oh yea i was up set but God saw fit that i make it through Februray 23 got a call from my so called job. Guess what!? they wanted me back! 😒 Apparently the replacemeant (50 year old)allowed client to fall and brake a femur not to metion 😳stage 2 of bedsores😢. When i left my client was in good condition now they return me with this😡 So before i went back relative wanted a meeting😏 smh i gets back everything is fine until weekend care starts telling me stuff. i dont engage but i do treat relative with respect after what she did to me i just talked to relative only when it was about client condition. But like i said relative wanted friendship i wasnt going to allow it. Business only and yes relative knew this. Overtime the relative made things hard and they eventually got their wish because on May 27 staffing Corr. Txt me and told me im being taken off the schdule....when i called and ask why staffing corr. says something about relative. (Notice throughout this whole story they are not pulling me in the office about the client they are pulling me because of the relative.) By this time im furious😡😡😡😡😡😡😡 so i was set up for a meeting on Tuesday with no time frame 👀😣. I called the office "oh yea you can come in tomorrow doesnt matter what time" 😕 really unprofessional. So get there talked it was really pointless because i had already knew that they were going to replace me because the weekend care told me she trained someone, how can she do that if she only been there for a year. Oh well i go to my ex client house to get my things and the replacement tells me as soon as i walk in the door yall. "I am so sorry i did not know you had to go through all of this" i looked like what are you talking about replacment told me relative came in the house in a rampage. Threw all food i brought for client away plus mine and put my stuff outside in the garage. Replacement showed me where my stuff was and all i could do was laugh yall yes i laughed my ass off because this relative lost all marbles smh 😄😃. So since then its been now 2mths again since i worked a case. Oh yes they called me twice about doing bull crap short hour cases but i refuse to work for a company that didnt have my back in the first place. All they were thinking about was money. And it seems thats what people care about now days. Its not good to choose Quantity over Quality. Because having bad Quality equals low quantity. Im studying for my MT (Massage Therapy)licensure anyway.
