Am I overreacting??
My boyfriend and I have been together on and off for about three years now. About three months ago, he broke up with me because he was still in love with his highschool sweetheart. Her name is Kai. The romance was short lived, but he had been in love with her for years. When it came time to discuss baby names, he wanted to name our daughter Kaiah, Kai for short. I lost my shit. I don't wanna name my daughter after his ex girlfriend, to which he said I'm overreacting and I need to stop being "so obsessed" with his ex, and he just really likes the name. Am I wrong for being upset that he wants to name our daughter that? I'm so overly emotional at 27 weeks that I can't tell which one of us is being insensitive. He's dead set on the name, and I know if I continue to push it it'll end in a ridiculous argument, but at the same time I feel like if the situation had been reversed and I named our kid after one of my ex's all hell would break lose. Someone, please help me figure out the best way to handle this situation without conflict.
