Abortion regret?

Did you get an abortion and now regret your decision?

I was sad after my abortion when I was 17. Because I'm human and it's a sad thing to do. But I don't regret it because i would not be where I am right now and I'm so utterly happy with the choices in my life that would not have come to pass otherwise.

I made the right choice for me. I don't overthink it because I probably would feel sad, but I definitely dont have any regret.

I do because I feel like my heart is searching for the thing that’s missing. I mostly listened to the father and got swayed towards the abortion because he wanted it done. I have a 3 year old and it would have been really difficult but the struggle (financial) would have been temporary and the child would have been forever. And I am still torn if I made the right decision. The father and I wouldn’t have stayed together so I would have kept it with probably no help from him. My family is helping me a great deal with my 3 year old so I didn’t want to introduce another child into their home that they’d feel obligated to help with. Maybe some day I’ll realize it was the right decision. Or maybe I’ll always feel regret. But I know I’ll never have another abortion ever again.

Not even slightly. I sometimes wonder if "should" regret it but that's just what society has indoctrinated us to believe our reaction should be. Being pregnant when I didn't want to be was hard, stressful, confusing. Dealing with it was a release from that.

Nope!!! It's been 8 years and to this day I do not regret it and if I had to make that choice again I totally would.
