Fresh or Frozen embryo transfer?!?!?!

To all the IVF ladies, which type of embryo transfer did you do? Fresh or frozen embryo transfer? Please share your experience and outcome thank you!

FROZEN!!!!

I have had two failed fresh transfers, the last we used our frostie babies from the second retrieval and I'm 22 weeks pregnant!

Honestly believe frozen is overall better for your body. You go through so much to retrieve those eggs, put your body through emotional and medical hell, the frozen transfer I only used Lupron and my estrogen and progesterone and that's it. Success

after 2 failed fresh tranfers we had our third try frozen and waited two cycles to transfer, now we have a healthy 4 month baby girl

We did frozen transfers. We did it because we had genetic testing done on our embryos, so we didn't have another choice. But it was nice to let my body calm down after all of the stims and retrieval. I think it would have been a lot harder physically (for me anyways) to roll right into a fresh transfer. My dr also said that frozen transfers sometimes have a higher success rate because your body has time to reregulate it's hormone levels. My first transfer failed. But it wasn't due to the embryos or a transfer issue. I had a secondary underlying condition we were unaware of. My second frozen transfer, with my last embryo, was a huge success!  Currently 28 weeks pregnant with a perfectly healthy little girl! I'd talk to your RE and see what he recommends for you and why. Good luck! Ivf is hard-but oh so worth it!
