Worried about flying during the 1st trimester??

Question

I'll be taking a short hour flight at 13 weeks pregnant, is there a higher risk of miscarriage?? My doctor said no but of course I'm worried. Anyone have experiences with flying during the first trimester.

Im currently backpacking around Asia, 11 weeks and have been flying between countries with no problems. 
Only issue is when the pesky food cart is wheeled past during a nauseous wave 😷

I've flown in ALL trimesters, including a 6.5 flight to Hawaii at 22 weeks and a 2 hour flight at 35 weeks. My midwife was always fine with it and babies and I have always been healthy. You and your baby will be absolutely fine.

My dr said it's totally safe, but she said to try to get up and walk to prevent blood clots. You'll be fine!

Already flown to Salt Lake City, Utah and back and Charleston, South Carolina.

I recommend asking to do the non-x-ray scan because you're preggo. And drink a lot of water too!

I flew cross country when I was 5-6 weeks and everything was just fine! Like you I have another trip planned at 13 weeks for work. My doctor had no concerns about that trip. I'm more worried about the nausea while traveling, but hopefully it will be gone by then!

I am 12 weeks and had to travel this week for work.  My doctor said it was fine and I felt fine  the entire time. My only advice would be to move your feet and legs around to avoid any swelling. Enjoy your trip.

I wouldn't worry about that at all. I may be looking at an international flight in my 3rd trimester. 😱

I flew 5+ business trips in my first trimester. I'm 12+6 and everything is going great, had an ultrasound yesterday. My doctor told me later in pregnancy to get up and walk around about every hour to help prevent blood clots.
