How long would you wait for your partner to spend time with you before getting upset?

Assuming you've been in your relationship or marriage for a while. A date can be anything (nonsexual but can lead up to it) for example. A dinner, a movie, a trip to the arcades, fishing, sitting at a coffee house, a walk, a drive to nowhere, swimming, the gun range. How long would you wait for your partner to spend time alone with you before getting upset.

PS. They'll spend time with their friends just about every weekend.

I mean... I wouldn't wait for anything. If I want to go out on a date with my husband I say, hey let's go do something together its been awhile! And he's usually down for whatever.

Well me and my boyfriend basically do most thinks together, we have seperat apartments but we sleep separately maybe one time a month . He even get hurt if I don't come over at times. My ex? Complete opposite we would see each other maybe twice or three times a week and he would always make plans without me. And let's just say I'm much happier in my relationship now.

It would depend on the reasons why we weren't going... Short on cash? Working too many hours at work and over tired? Now if my husband was just sitting on his ass doing nothing and still not wanting to spend time together then yes I'd be upset question but if there was a legitimate reason why then I feel like part of being an adult is just having to deal with things like that.

This is a constant struggle in our relationship. He tends to make all these plans and then tells me about them and I just look at him and say, "well where's my time with you?" He stumbles and get nervous and we work out then calendar again. I told him before we got married that he needs to start thinking as 'we' and not 'I' or 'me'. He's gotten better but there are still moments where I need to remind him that I am priority in his life, not his friends.
