Help! I need some advice on metformin and clomid
So my doctors office had called me today 2 1/2 weeks after I did my blood test and told me that I'm insulin resistant and that I have to take metformin twice a day for 3 months. Before this test my doctor prescribed me clomid 100mg (I did 3 rounds of clomid 50mg prior). She never mentioned that I have pcos and was wondering if I do have it? I have been using opks and today is the first day I got a positive opk. I have read that if you have pcos you won't ovulate. I get my period every month and had chemical preganancy before I'm confused. Will I still have the chance to get pregnant this month or I'll have to try next month since I will just start my metformin today. Please help? No negative comments please the nurse that called me didn't really answered any of my questions clearly. She said my metformin has nothing to do with my ovulation but I have read metformin is used to help me ovulate? Please send me some insight anyone using metformin and clomid. Baby dust to all
