Bloody show?

I'm 38+4 and I haven't noticed if I've lost my mucous plug. I had a doctors appointment today at 4 and after we had dinner with my parents. When we got home I undressed for a shower and it looked like the start of a period. I had complained all day that my body felt achy and I had "beginning of period" type cramps. Do you think the blood is from my doctor checking my cervix or losing mucous plug? Or bloody show? 
It wasn't just bloody when I wiped. It legit looked like I started my period, but that's obviously not the problem.

Call your doc! You prob need to be checked!

I had a littke bleeding after i was checked as well, and a lot of cramping. Its stopped after a while. Probably from getting checked
