My son will only feed on my left side. I have tried football, crossover and cradle hold on my right. He latches for a second then gets upset. We will try for a few moments but I end up giving up and switching to my left side. I am engorged only on the right side also but I try to massage before each feeding to soften it up. Since he hasn't ate from that side for the last few feedings I tried pumping(20 min) and got almost nothing. Also to throw more into the mix my nipples are sore from my son's poor latch due to a tongue and lip tie. We had that fixed 2 days ago so we are working on getting him to latch correctly now. Needless to say we have been struggling since day one and I really want to continue breastfeeding but pain and frustration is taking over. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
