Lh surge before af?

I've seen where a few ppl say theres a lh surge before af but i cant find that anywhere other than on here.  Does anyone know how true this is?

The LH horemone is always present in the body. You should have only one "surge" which will help pinpoint ovulation. Opks will always pick up lh in the body.

LH surge is only during ovulation. Some people ovulate twice per cycle so they may have one right before AF.

I believe you only ovulate once. BUT you can have a second LH surge without releasing an egg JUST before af.
