Why do people put rings on pregnancy tests?

I've seen a bunch of people do this. Any particular reason why?

In my opinion it gives people line eyes so they THINK they see something and dont. If you can't see it without the camera "focusing" or needing tweaked then I say it's not a true bfp.

Like they said. Helps camera focus. Mine won't focus on a test at all without my ring on it. Lol.

It helps the camera focus. It's easier to see in person usually so the ring helps the camera focus. I did that for my last two pregnancies when I first tested and the line wasn't super dark yet.
