Hi ladies! I went to the ER about a month ago with terrible pains. I usually never go to the ER but I could not stand the pain that I was having on my left side. After having an MRI, and two ultrasounds , the doctors found a 5 centimeter ovarian cyst. It has not been removed yet but I'm wondering how common these are and if any of you guys have any stories about yours.

I would still like to try to conceive but I am afraid of how this cyst May interfere. The doctor mentioned that large cyst can create torsion and twist the ovary. I would really like to keep both of my ovaries- I am only 25 years old with no children. I'm not sure if the cyst can be removed if I do conceive. IDK. Any thoughts?
