People with twins, does it run in your family?

If so how many pairs of twins are in your family, and what generation are they?

No twins on my side of the family but my husband has 18 sets of twins on his mothers side of the family. It seems as though it alternates from fraternal to identical twins. We would be next in line for identical twins. And we miscarried on March identical twin boys. Heres to hoping for our rainbow baby

I have faternal twins and my cousins are twins and on my ex husbands side 3 of his brothers have twins and there identical twins so when we got pregnant or first pregnancy was our twins and we only had one set as we had 2 more kids after our twins

My mom was a twin , my grandmothers sisters have had twins and their grandmothers so on it runs in my moms side of the family but so far none of my siblings or cousins have had twins

Hi! I am an identical twin (it's basically being born with your best friend!) identical twins are not genetic (we are a "freak of nature") lol. I would love to have twins too! My twin just had a baby 3 wks ago & ive been trying to concieve my third for 6 months (I have two teenagers). I am 36 (started early & didn't realize it would be difficult when I got older). I would love to have twins. My husband is a twin. My great grandmother had 2 sets of twins, my grandmother had one set and my 1st cousin has one set. We would love to be blessed with twins.

My husband is a paternal twin. I'm not aware of twins on my side of family. I would love to have twins but that would require me to ovulate from each ovary to have paternal twins or for one egg to split into two for identical twins. Guess we'll have to see!

My great grandma had two sets of twins (she had 20 kids total!) and my grandma had twins. All were fraternal, which I have been told is the kind that runs in the family. 
My husband and I are hoping that the twin streak continues and we get an "instant family of four" after 2 years TTC!

My dad is a twin, and my mum had a brother and sister who were twins. All of my cousins were singletons. I'd love to have twins!
