Black Privilege ?

I'm sorry ... What privileges do blacks really have ? I don't know many of them ... So please help me out .. 
Is black privilege being able to see the age of 18? Or the age of 21? Is black privilege being able to have a complete stranger # your name , after you are falsely executed ?

Is black privilege where we are raised to trust those same cops that kill our brothers for being in the wrong place at the wrong time .

Is black privilege being able to be "free" , even though , honestly we are not .

Is black privilege being able to be stereotyped before even getting to know me ?

Oh , you're not the average black girl ... You speak so white .. Since when did speaking RIGHT become speaking white ?

What hurts the most is when you ask a little 11 year old black boy , what he wants to be when he grows up ...

And he answers you : Alive .

Black privilege is a joke . Black privilege is said by a person that is not black . Black privilege is a way to silence the truth .

Many will view . Most will not comment . I don't want you to . I just needed to let my frustration out .

I'm sure many people would love to converse about this topic but don't want to because they would be bashed. Maybe making a topic a little less hostile and you would have more responses. There's a lot of intelligent and respectful ways to discuss it I just don't like it will happen here.

I understand what people mean when they say 'white privilege'. But as you stated, unless I'm black, I won't understand. Just like if you're not white you won't understand where white people are coming from. Not all black people are discriminated against and not all white people have a golden pass.

I've never heard black privelage being used. I cannot believe that anyone would say such a thing. I have mixed feelings personally on all the race shit happening right now. But I'm not dumb I know there is no such thing as black privelage.

I think anyone who uses that term is probably a massive racist.

Hmm I think your words are very moving. Whether I completely agree or not....I think you stated it very well in a way that seem (personally) maybe a little more empowering then taking the awe poor me aproche(which in same case you do deserve to take). I do think that this happens to be something I feel a little mixed about. I personally have walked into a primarily black store and been snubbed off. I have been told more then I care to say oh you would know because your just a white girl. To the point now I just make jokes about my "whiteness". Which I'm not going to blame all black people for. These things I kinda see as growing pains. I'm not offended. It wasn't that terribly long ago that segregation was still a thing. I feel in society that for a lot of things to change we almost have to faze out the old thought process. As new generations come and make up their minds on how they feel about things, the more open minded this world will come to things. It takes time. I agree there are obviously some things that need to be changed. I mean I'm guilty of being in "wrong side of town" and trying not to feakout because someone who I Categorize as "dangerous" is standing beside me....Which is a judgment I made on looks... I think the best thing this world could lean is maybe try not putting boxes on everyone! Why do we need them anyways? Who wants to be confined to a box!? I don't! I want to live a life full of more then just one box! I don't want to be a one sided thing who can only grow to be this! I would maybe make the crazy assumption that maybe others who not want this either. I'm not even sure if any of that makes sense to anyone else...but that's my theory on what would fix a lot of the social problems we are having today.

I have never heard of black privilege, mainly for the points you listed. I live between New Orleans and Baton Rouge. Anyone who mumbles about black privilege here would be laughed at.

I don't live in the US so most of the struggles African Americans deal with are foreign to me, fortunately. Besides those times when the typical stereotyping happens (that's more based on immigrants in general than american black culture), I barely remember that I'm part of a minority in a white country.

So, personally, my black privilege might be only connected with the lack of need of sunscreen. I haven't bought it for 10 years.
