Hypnobirthing experience?

Has anyone tried a home study of hynobirthing? I found this kit on Amazon but I wasn't sure about spending that much money. I can't go to classes regularly because I work evenings 3-11pm.

I haven't experienced it but I've been doing my reading on it. And watching some YouTube videos. I'm excited to give it a shot.

I just did the free app. It helped me focus during birth but it somehow seemed to make the contractions stronger... Although that could also have been the Pitocin. 😂😂😂

I've started it, and it seems good so far. I'm not expecting it to work miracles, but relaxation is a good thing! Be prepared you're supposed to listen to about an hour of audio a day (half hypnosis, half affirmations) for a minimum of six weeks. Also when I was looking the kit was cheaper on the hypnobabies site.

I did hypnobirthing with my first. We did private sessions with the hypnobirthing instructor and she would come to our house when it suited us. Best experience ever and highly recommended to all!
