Did you have to be on your period for Paraguard?

So frustrated my doctors WILL NOT order my Paraguard after three months of calling them to order it, it has been Doctor approved its the darn receptionist...

I'm tempted to move doctors but I need this done ASAP because I've been trying for three months, and I've got a super romantic Halloween vacation coming up... Tbh I would like to be baby proofed and comfortable with my iud before going out of state for a week.

I wasnt. It's not compulsory, it's a recommendation. When we're menstruating our cervix is lower and open - that's why it's easier.

No, but it hurt like a mofo. It's supposedly much easier when you're on your period, I would take your doctors advice, as annoying as it is.
