Does it make me look like a fool to not only allow my boyfriend to go to the strip club alone, but have him wear the promise ring I got him????

In my opinion, a strip club is no place for a man in a committed relationship. You can disagree, but I think it's just something you don't do.

Frankly if my husband went to a strip club I would be so hurt and angry. My personal opinion is that it's cheating. Not in the traditional sense, obviously. But it is, to me anyway. However he would never step foot in one so I guess it's a moot point.

Which to me personally doesn't sit well at all, I don't mind porn, those people are on a screen. But strip clubs have living women right there and it just doesn't sit well with me

With him and enjoy the beauty and art in it, enjoy the attention of a pretty girl, tip her for her grace and elegance. And if one comes on stage that is just being perverse simply do not tip her. But DO NOT take the advise of these women who are either so indoctrinated into believing that a woman should have to cover up and not celebrate her body, her sexuality, and art or so completely unsecure in their relationship that they perpetuate the status and stigma of the oppressed female so blindly and likely suffer from spousal infidelity or body image issues. And if that's the case, you need to end the relationship because TRUST is the key component in a healthy non abusive (from either end) relationship or do some serious body acceptance work. I can't fathom another reason why you wouldn't let you SO go, certainly it's not because they don't serve water taffy!

Every relationship is different. Some don't want their boyfriend going to strip clubs, and some don't mind if their boyfriend do. What you decide to do in your relationship is your and your partners decision! If you don't want him going to a strip club then talk to him about it
