Anyone tried inducing labor?

If so how far along were you, what did you try & did it work?! 🙂

Anytime you get contractions walk for an hour. Nothing started labor for me except walking when I finally had regular contractions, that's after 2 separate false alarms that I just went to bed and woke up with nothing. I swear walking made it the real deal.

Yup my second pregnancy at 37+6 i took castor oil at 11pm woke up at 38 weeks at 5 am in labor.

I tried castor oil in a smoothie at 38 weeks. It started up contractions of course after having a poop fest for 1 hour in the bathroom. Went to the hospital (mind you was 1 hour away, my insurance was only through Kiezer Permenente) When I arrived, got checked and only 1 cm dialated. Doctor had me walk around for an hour and rechecked. No changes. So my husband decides to tell him what I did, and Doctor made the choice to give me a shot to stop the contractions. I was sooooo mad! Ended up having to be induced at 41 weeks because my son decided he was too comfy in there...😳. Never again will I try castor oil...let alone eat pecan icecream..

Yes all 3 of my babies a few days before due dates , I used castor oil (midwife suggested) and I went into labour each time . But this only works if your body is ready , I had bulging waters and was already dilated a little each time :)
