First gyno appt?

I'm 18 and have been sexually active for 2 years, but I have yet to actually go the the gynecologist. I'm not worried about STD's or anything so testing won't be a problem, but what normally happens at a first gyno's appointment?

It's definitely awkward because your in a cold room naked. Butttt my first one was when I first started having sex when I was 16. So, they make you strip, put on some paper to cover your bits and they put your feet up. They use a cold metal clamp to open you up. And you have to be careful not to clench yourself down there or else it can pinch you lol. So they use a lot of lube on This big version of a q tip and they swab your cervix. Also before all of this they'd probably ask you to pee in a cup. They do a breast exam and tummy exam which is just pressing down on you.

I lost my virginity at 16 and didn't go to the Gyno until I got pregnant at 20 LOL. I don't recommend it but they'll just put a little instrument inside of you to open you up and check everything down there out, then swab and test for things it's routine. You'll do fine!
