Bleeding before bfp?

Have any of you ladies experienced bleeding that you thought was your period before you found out you were pregnant? Just curious :)

I started bleeding on Sunday evening, still little bits there when I wipe but not enough blood to be a period. Really dark brown! (Sorry if tmi) Also I am normally regular and not due for another week at least for my period. Had unprotected sex around 9 days ago, could this be inplantation do you think? Sounds similar to yours!
