Are you getting a 3D/4D ultrasound?

Question

Part of me doesn't want to spend the extra money on it, because babies on 3D/4D ultrasounds all look the same to me! But we haven't had an ultrasound for 12 weeks now, so I'm dying to see him!

I got the "watch me grow package" and it was $200 and worth every penny. I got the first at 14 weeks (early gender scan), 24 weeks, and the last one at 31 weeks. Each session was about 30 minutes, so aside from the pictures it was really cool to watch him do his thing in the womb and actually see what he's doing when I feel certain movements like, sucking his thumb, playing with his feet, sucking his toes, etc. ☺️

We're having a home birth, so confirming he was head down is why we decided to get one at 34 weeks. Totally worth it! Had to run up the stairs and do a few yoga moves to get some good shots, but the peace of mind at this late stage was awesome. Apparently, our little guy loves nursing his toes. So cute!

I got it at 32 weeks 1 day. I think that's a good time since the baby starts putting on fat and all of that so the baby's features are a little more defined. We came to the conclusion our little girl has my nose (poor thing) and her dad's mouth and chin lol.
